Please, for the love of God, please stop using the word “filming”. There is no film in the iPhone. Use shooting instead of “filming”.. please! And why was the word “film” capitalized in the title of the video? My God I miss the days when people actually had to shoot film. There would be a ton less videographers and photographers if it was still just actual film. Now everyone is a shooter because it’s so easy. This video proves my point.

I'm excited to share this journey with my wife, who's keen on shooting more content but feels overwhelmed by where to start. I live in Oklahoma, I run GH5’s for weddings, surprisingly they can run 4k/30 10 bit as long as the batteries last in 100 degree plus outdoor temps. Literally shot a wedding last weekend in 105 degrees and heat index over 120 for over 40 minutes… no temp warnings!

Having DIFFERENT historical and TECHNOLOGICAL timelines spanning 150 years. Have pride and knowledge of the gear we use including the words that describe what we do. Our tools are Digital Video, Non-linear, and CGI. We are moviemakers, not filmmakers. We do what film wished it could. We are Videographers and/or cinematographers. 🙂 We video or are videoing, we do not film. That's the other RARE professionals who know how to use film and film cameras, like an ARRIFLEX 435 Panavision R-200 and Steenbeck flatbed film editors. Its just film grain and denoising lighting color grade. This entire video is really dumb. The camera doesnt matter you can always add film grain post and i guarantee it some of the shows and films you like did this.

Studios just make remakes, reboots, endless sequels of crap movies, stupid superhero movies for little kids... No originality, no talent, no creativity, shallow content... Simply: Imagine looking directly into a light ray that is flying towards you. It has got many photons that vibrate in a lot of different angles. Pure reflection has got more light rays that vibrate from one side to another on a straight line. Polarization filters have got like tiny little strings that can block exactly one "line" of light. So it removes all the light of one "line", which can be the reflection or example, and allows the rest in. There is way more to it, but I hope this is simple enough to understand.

I purchased a camera. Recorded video across multiple formats at settings of 1080p 4k, 5.8k, 8k, and to my surprise Davinci studio (yes I paid for it never using video editing software before) wouldn’t open or load a single one of the videos. Tried converting them with software I read about on Reddit and still nothing. .mov, .mp4, flog 2 raw whatever nothing would open. Clearly I have no idea what I’m doing I’m brand new to this but I subscribed to premier pro per a friends recommendation and every single file opens zero issue and away I go.
